Ramadan Special at Hotel Sonargaon

Every year the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel Dhaka spreads out a range of delicacies for iftar throughout the month of Ramadan. This year is no different with Sonargaon offering a delicious selection of local iftar items, Arabic delicacies and a select few items from other cuisines.
The all day dining restaurant of the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka “Café Bazar” is going to house the Iftar Buffet from the first day of the holy Ramadan where the menu has been designed keeping nourishment and health aspects in mind as well.
The Iftar Buffet at Café Bazar includes energising selections of sherbets and lassi, fruit cocktails, plain and fruit yoghurt alongside fresh juices of mango, papaya and pineapple. Other kitchen delicacies include Beef Croquette, Chicken Wings topped with a tasty BBQ sauce, Mutton Kebab that melts in the mouth and Chicken Shashlick.
Some other exquisite Chef’s special are breaded deep fried chicken wings, beef tikka kebab, Spicy Chicken tikka, fish square with tomato, onion and capsicum, lamb meatball with tomato sauce, shrimp ball with sweet and sour sauce, etc.
“We have included many types of kababs, fresh salads along with regular iftaar items. The jilapi is a must try and will be accompanied by a number of other desserts. The chicken shashlick is a very simple and light item that has been marinated and grilled. We tried to ensure variety by including items from international cuisines” said Chef Dominic. “There will be close to a hundred items available at the buffet” he added.
Piaju, Beguni, Vegetable Pakora, Fried Chick Peas and Chicken cutlet will also be available. Two types of traditional halims will be available namely mutton and chicken halim and these are exquisitely made with the halim having a very creamy texture with the meat soft and melting at first bite. Besides buffet, you can also grab special Iftar box parcels and order take-aways. For big Corporate Bookings or Family Parties Pan Pacific Sonargaon is ready to cater exclusive Iftar banquet events.
